Match report On 20 February 2026 the son of RNVR founder, Barry Crabb, Tony, wrote to the RNVR website offering our 1949/1950 scorebook.
Barry had died in 1971. Tony was looking to de-clutter!

The book is in remarkable condition, but is missing its front cover, so this match, which may or may not be the first of 1949 is incomplete. In fact this first match may be a beer match as the Old Owens players only bowl one over each.
We are missing the RNVR batting innings and the book starts with the opposition bowling
