Match report In which RNVR get pumped...

At the behest of the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Cricketers this match report is deliberately brief and lacking in detail out of respect for those whom were present.

Having been alerted ahead of the game of our mid-season injury crisis, St Albans deployed their T20 brigade.

Consequently, many boundaries were struck (fifty five fours and three sixes), a few catches went down, but some wickets were taken. A reverse sweep for six was spotted.

RNVR didn't start well in reply and did not recover; instead subsiding to a humbling defeat.

Honourable mention should be made of William Buckland's 5-59 and possibly more significantly, he bowled the only maiden of the St Albans innings.
