Match report RNVR appear to play 12, with Gibbons (Still ABCD Gibbons) listed to, but doesn't batt at 11 and Hanrott is used as 6th bowler but not listed as a batter.

In fairness Midland have a bat call Gow, who might be Gall who's name is a bowler and easier to read.
Murry appears not to bat, but that might have been his first name....who will ever know?

First recorded SIX by the RNVR - Bishop.
First 7 wicket haul - Hensher 7-22 in 13 overs. It beats his 7-43 some weeks later at Cuckfied that is more often reported. It becomes only the 8th recorded 7 wicket haul in the club's history (1 of nine - Connolly, and 4 of eight wickets, (stewart, Hawkey, Harrison & Liddell - all these earlier ones recorded were August or later...... )

Bowled in two spells Hensher was barely not bowling all innings long. 9-4-16-3 is followed by a devastating 4-1-6-4

Runs for Peter Connolly. It's been a while since I started this in Lockdown (now July 2026) and don't recall higher! And his first wicket in 1949 - his ascent to the top of the charts (futile??) starts.....
