Match report RNVR won toss and elected to bat - 40 over game agreed, reduced to 38 overs due to late start, ball hunting and fading light during 1st innings
Pitch very green, long grass to frame the square and a relatively long outfield meant little value in hitting the ball along the floor
Bonhams vintage car rally presented some valuable targets along the one boundary

Tim and Alex B opened, Tim bowled by an in-swinging yorker early up, Colin at 3 followed soon after top edging a big sweep.
Alex then sold down the river and run out for 10 and Pepler bowled by another swinging yorker for 5 left RNVR precariously positioned at 27-4 off the first 10.
Reza and Vinay steadied the ship with a partnership of 63, lots of 2s, before Reza triggered for 31
Massey Jr then joined Vinay and they put on 118 in 15 overs, both making 50s before Vinay fell in the penultimate over for 91, James finishing unbeaten on 60 and the R making 230-7.

Tex and Ben opened up the bowling. Tex, on the spot as ever, took the first, caught at square leg by Massey Jr.
After a change of ends, Ben then ran through the middle-order, taking 4-19 from his 8.
Final 3 wickets fell fairly quickly after that, Massey Jr with 2 and Mriksh with the final one and the Sunday Seconds were bowled out in 25 overs for 50.
