Scorebook definitely says CCC declared at 4.10pm, their innings having started at 3.25pm
Not quite sure why they hadn't stopped at 60, perhaps a second innings was planned for the visitors, and rain intervened again?

So we might assume a long luncheon as well as a sticky wicket may have affected the RNVR innings? The Cuckfield scorebook draws a polite veil.
