The club is sad to report that the club lost another of its Vice Presidents last year. Long standing club member Eddie Cox, a bowling all rounder, played for the club during four decades commencing in 1957, post his National Service, and playing his final game in 1989. He was Vice Captain of the club, under Arthur Hensher, in the sixties, seventies and eighties.
In more recent years, he was still to be seen on the boundary, supporting the side at St Albans, close to his home, and regularly attended Vice Presidents' lunches in London.
A family memorial, to be held at Lord's, is planned in May of this year.
