Unable to meet formally for an end of season meal to celebrate the remarkable and many achievements of this unique summer, the RNVR gathered after the last game at Staplefield to hear the Club Captain's wide ranging and generous praise for all that we have enjoyed.
He mentioned the recruitment of a raft of young and talented players which is very exciting and described some splendid games at both old and and beautiful new venues. There have been many blistering performances too, but special praise, fittingly at the new fixture he sourced, was paid to Francis Potter who is the 10th winner of the Hensher Cup.
